|90Works NWFL Stability Services for Veterans||Stability Services for Veterans seeks to improve housing stability of veterans who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and their families. Targeted case management that is geared toward a goal of self-sufficiency begins with assessment of current needs and resources and development of a plan to engage the family with community resources including VA benefits, housing counseling, financial planning, employment and/or access to disability services. Temporary financial assistance may include time-limited payment to third parties for housing or other living costs. Overall the goal is to assist the veteran with providing for themselves and their families.

|Catholic Charities ESC Utilities Assistance||Catholic Charities Emergency Financial Assistance program may assist with past due utilities on a case-by-case basis, depending on current funds available.
As of May 20th, 2015:
Catholic Charities has received a grant, The Challenge Grant. These funds are available to assist with past due rental payments (no deposit & no first month) and utility payments. The grant ends June 30th, so from now until June 30th, they are only helping those who meet the following criteria:
• Must have children in the home age 17 or under (if not biological children, must have proof of custody)
• Income must be 50% or less than Area Median income
• Must have the ability to sustain their living situation/utility bills after the assistance is given. (Not helping those who have no way to sustain their livelihood, this is meant to be a onetime, something out of ordinary caused family to fall behind kind of thing…)
They will still be taking screenings for these calls as usual, every Monday from 9-11.
Catholic Charities of NWFL will continue to help Santa Rosa and Escambia flood victims with mortgage, rent, utilities, and medical expenses. The qualifications for our assistance are based on being adversely affected by the flood, not necessarily on income. People seeking assistance need to bring: Social Security Cards for all members who are living in their household, Drivers License or State ID, Proof of income, Copy of bills they need assistance with. If rent copy of a current lease, unless it is 1st months, FEMA Number and if possible FEMA Report.||Escambia||Catholic Charities Escambia and Santa Rosa County||Catholic Charities of Northwest Florida|
